Want to print 1099 on a plain paper, can I do that and if yes how can I do that?

If you want QuickBooks print 1099 on plain paper then you have to follow the below mentioned points-

To print W-2 Copy A and W-3 forms you can use plain white paper.
Copy A for Form 1099s must be ordered from the IRS or purchased from a tax supply vendor. Copy A uses red ink. The other sections of
Form 1099 can be printed on standard white paper.
For some copies of paperwork you give to employees, you must also use perforated paper.
