- Go to Company
- Choose My Company
- Select the pencil icon to edit
- Choose the Company Information tab
- Type in the correct EIN in the concerned field
- Click OK
- Create a new form after the EIN is changed.

In Online Payroll – The number is extracted from the Company Federal Tax Information Window
- Go to the Gear icon
- Choose Payroll Settings
- Click on General Tax Information
- Under the Company General Tax Information
- Update Filing Name
In Desktop Payroll – The Company Information window Provides the Number
- Go to Company
- Choose My Company
- Select the pencil icon to edit
- Choose the Legal Information tab
- Type in the correct information in the concerned field
- Click OK
- Create a new form after the details are changed
