Facing error code 15222 while open QuickBooks Premier Plus 2020

Follow the below mentioned steps to fix error code 15222,

Installing the Digital Signature Certificate

  • Shut off the QuickBooks Desktop program.
  • Look for the file QBW32.exe. C:Program FilesIntuitQuickBooks is where you'll find it.
  • Right-click on this file and select "Save Target As..."
  • Choose Properties.
  • Select the Digital Signature option from the drop-down menu.
  • In the signature list, make sure Intuit, Inc. is chosen.
  • Select Details
  • Select View Certificate from the Digital Signature Details box.
  • Select Install Certificate from the Certificate window.
  • Keep clicking Next until the Finish tab appears.
  • Click the Finish button.
  • You'll be asked to restart your computer. Select OK.
  • Activate QuickBooks.
  • Try downloading the update and see if the problem persists.

If error is still not solved then,

Try Adding Exceptions to Anti-Adware, Anti-Spyware or Anti-Malware

  • Finally, verify the Internet connection settings to complete the operation.
  • To begin, set Internet Explorer as your default browser. Next, check the browser's date and time to see whether they are right. You should also verify the Cipher strength, which you may do by opening Internet Explorer >>>. input the URL you'd want to check for Cipher >>> Right-click the page and select Properties>>> A new window will appear; go to the Connection section to view the Cipher strength.
  • By choosing Tools, you can now update all of your settings.
  • Select Internet Options >>> from the drop-down menu. Select the Delete option under the General tab, then Temporary Internet files, and then press the Delete button.
  • Check the box that says "Automatically Detect Settings" on the connection tab >>> LAN settings. It is critical to mark both 0 and SSL3.0 when finishing the process.
