I am trying to set up QuickBooks 2020 I purchased at Costco. I do not have a disk drive.

Please suggest some solutions to the problem.

By inputting the product number and license key on Intuit's website, users may get a fresh copy of the installation. Install the program on the desired machine after it has been downloaded. Follow the below mentioned steps,

  1. By holding your mouse over the link, you may download QuickBooks. To acquire your unique version of QuickBooks, enter the product number.
  2. Activate the installation.
  3. Go over the terms and conditions and choose Next after marking the radio option next to 'Terms and licensing agreement.'
  4. Enter all required information, including the product number and licensing key.
  5. Next should be selected.
  6. Choose one of the choices below:
    • QuickBooks Express will be installed with the default settings. In addition, earlier versions of the program will be retired in favor of the current one. If you downloaded the installer for a prior version, you will see a notification indicating the existence of a newer version.
    • Custom and Network Options: Customize the installation parameters using this option. You may also install QB on a network or server using this method.
  7. If you chose Custom and Network Options, choose one of the options below; otherwise, move on to the next step:
    • On this system, I'd be using QB.
    • On this system, QB will be used, but the corporate file will be stored and shared via the network.
    • On this system, we won't be using QB, but we will store and distribute the corporate file via the network.
  8. Using the Browse option, select the directory where you wish to install QB. Choose the location where QB will be installed.
  9. Click next if you don't want to modify the directory.
  10. When the installation is finished, click the Finish button.

Without the need of a CD, you have successfully installed QB on your PC. To utilise the software on this new machine, you must first register and activate it. Users will not be able to view or create corporate files until they register with QB. Follow the procedures outlined below to activate and register QB:

  • Double-click the newly generated shortcut on the desktop to launch QuickBooks.
  • From the menu, choose Help. Toggle the menu if you can't see it by using the ALT key.
  • Select Activate.
  • Fill in the license key and any other required information.
