  1. Launch the Windows 10 Firewall.
  2. Select Advanced Settings (On the left side)
  3. Select "Outbound Rules" from the drop-down menu (On the left side)
  4. On the right side, click "New Rule."
  5. Next, Program
  6. Navigate to the software location, C: Program Files (x86)IntuitQuickBooks XXXXQBW32.EXE, and then click Next.
  7. Disconnect the connection, then
  8. Check all of the boxes, then click Next.
  9. Type in your name (example QB fix)
  10. Press the Finish button.
